Hi ,
My homepatrol 1 stopped scanning . It shows 3 channels on screen with static sound. No channels are locked . Should I update firmware ?

first, try rebooting. If that doesn't work, shut scanner down, remove batteries, and slide out memory card for one minute. then reinstall card, and reboot.

Rebooting is just the scanner off completely.

Did you try the second step? Shut down the scanner completely, flip the radio over, open the battery compartment,
remove the right side batteries. Press your finger against the memory card, and it pops out a bit. Remove the card for 1 minute, and reinsert it again until it stays in. Replace the batteries, and power up the scanner again. Let me know how that works.

If it doesn't, you may have a corrupt card(?) or something Uniden will have to suggest. DUKE, WB9OJD. You can private message me if you need to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
