This is mainly for UPMan or other Uniden staff.

The DB that is brought into Sentinel/Homepatrol.com from the RRDB includes conventional frequencies with modulation "NXDN" and "D-STAR". Is there a reason for this? Considering that the HP1 cannot "decode" these modulations, it would make more sense in my opinion to not import those channels into the HPDB, the same way you don't include channels with "TRBO" modulation. That would save us from having to create permanent avoids for all of those frequencies. :)

Some examples:

www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=5038 - frequency 166.14 (Heritage Pointe FD, NXDN modulation) and 156.6 (Okotoks FD, NXDN modulation).

www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=5006&tab=ham - various amateur repeaters with D-STAR modulation.

We initially excluded these...and it caused quite the uproar. Seems that many of these channels are part-time digital, part-time analog. Since avoiding is a much easier function than programming your own channels, we opted to put them back.
