After i created my favorites list every time i lose AC power i need to unplug the radio and
remove the batteries for about 3 minutes to reset it.
The batteries are good (its a new radio) during the last outage i played the radio for about
15 minutes it worked fine, i turned if off then later that evening when i turned it back on
it showed a sd card error.
Any information you can give will be helpful.

This is a Homepatrol-1 with all the latest updates.

You should "Read" from the Home Patrol to Sentinel first to save your data if you haven't done so already.

Next time you take the batteries out, take the card out and put it back in a couple of times to freshen up the contacts.

Use the "clear user data" to refresh the card if the error shows again, and then use Sentinel to "Write to Home Patrol" to restore your data.

If that doesn't do it, replace the card.

I see the card, do i lift strait up on the card to remove it?
I don't want to damage the radio.
If i replace the card can i put the new card directly into the radio and update
it from Sentinel?

Push card all the way in and then let go of it, it'll pop out. Happends to me every once in a while when I change the batterys

1- Open Homepatrol Sentinel.2- Read from Homepatrol (just a precaution to make sure you have all your favorites and profile) 3- Format your SD card, Personally I use Sdformater, It's a free download, 4- swap out cards. 5- Using Sentinel write to Homepatrol. Hope this helps you out.
