I would like to replace my SD Micro card in our HP1, will it handle a 32GB SD Micro card?

32GB cards work just fine, I've been using them since I first got my Home Patrols

If you replace the SD card In home patrol ? Do you read from sentinel to store the factory installed contents on the new card. Or is that permanent in the radio.
For instance my saved favorites ??. Their on the SD card correct ?? I think what I am asking is. What will I lose with a new SD Card.

Place the SD card in a regular SD Adapter and insert into your Windows Computer. Format as Fat32.

Insert the SD Card from your Homepatrol into the adapter. Insert into your computer. Create a Folder named HPCARD. Copy all the files from your HP SD Card to this folder. Remove your SD card.

Insert the new SD card which you just formatted into the computer. Copy all the files from the HPCARD folder to the SD Card.

Remove the SD card from the computer.

Insert the SD card to your Home Patrol. Now turn it on and you should be good to go. Keep the other SD Card as a backup just in case.

Enjoy.
