We are working on finishing up our update that allows us to take advantage of the new Nationwide systems in the RadioReference.com database. We are also taking the opportunity to make a few more tweaks in response to feedback we've received since the last update. We expect to release the firmware around the beginning of the new year. Here's the list (bold/italic only affect units that have the Extreme Upgrade):
Add the ability to customize the opening, owner information, and standby mode graphics.
Improved the Unit ID display, plus added some options to change the font sizes of the text on the main screen and the position of the Unit ID within the channel information.
Added support for UID in hexadecimal format.
Added a quick access from the side menu Advanced option to add a new department or channel.
Added an option to quickly save a found CTCSS/DCS tone to a channel.
Added an option to quickly save a found Unit ID.
Increase the limit of the number of Discovery Sessions to 128.
Increased the recording duration limit for Discovery Sessions to add 300 Seconds and 600 Seconds options.
Added a time-out-timer option during recording Discovery Sessions (to keep a hung channel from monopolizing the session for the entire duration limit).
Added an LTR analyze mode (system status, current activity, LCN monitor, activity log).
Add SystemID/SiteID/WACN in Site Information frequency monitor mode.
Add SystemID/SiteID/WACN in Analyze System Status second page.
Add new remote commands:
Set/read volume level
Set/read squelch level
Set/read Global Attenuation status
Set/read record on/off
Avoid System, Department, Channel.
Reduced pop noise that occurred in some cases.
Support for the latest version of the RadioReference database, including nationwide systems.
Added an advanced menu option to easily turn on/off nationwide systems.
Changed the "found CTCSS/DCS" indication from flashing to red
Change scan list name and Unit ID text color on Scan mode display. (gray -> white)
Add P25 X2 TDMA systems in HPDB to receive some FDMA Talkgroups. Add "System Info" of P25 X2 TDMA. (Note: This will not enable the HP-1 to receive channels using 2-slot TDMA signalling...only the "Phase 1" type channels that sometimes occur on this kind of system.)
Add NAC information in Site Info frequency monitor and Trunk Analyze System Status.
In Sentinel, we made changes to support all of the above.
