Will virtual control work under windows 8? Cannot get it to work.

ARC Patrol is win 8 compatible but I have not been able to locate a win8 driver yet for the HP1.

NS3K, not sure if this is your problem but I had a hard time getting the driver loaded I had - had to copy the winvista7com.inf in to the windows/inf directory. I had it on my desktop while trying to load it.

I'm having a problem locating the drivers also. I tried coping the vista drivers to the windows inf folder as mentioned above, but when I right click and choose install I get an error that says that the third party drivers didn't have a digital signature.

Google how to install win 8 unsigned drivers, there are many and it's complicated enough (multiple steps) that it's ez to get lost.

I suggest putting a copy of the driver in an EZ to remember spot - or desktop.

Works fine - couple reboots needed :)

Grommert = petition Uniden to update the driver ARC works fine once you get it installed.

@cacherjoe once i copied the inf file to the directory all i had to do was run ARC and that was it. No install needed.
