I copied it to the desktop and ran win's install driver , or find driver utility. You get an unsigned driver message. You can get it too load, but it's not as easy as just accepting as unsigned in win7.

Like I said - Google and find hot to print it or have it handy on another machine. It's not hard, just a lot of steps.

Ok I am missing some thing did you manually copy the inf files to your windows inf folder? Do not run the installer. I'll try to load arc patrol on my win 8 machine later in the day.

No I did not load to the INF folder. I let WIN* load it, after you are done you can delete it. I just use the desktop as an ez to remember location.

Do not let windows load it. Copy it manually to inf folder - start homepatrol and you should be all set.

Try it and see - Win8 will refuse to load an unsigned driver.
