I do have one more question . I have the demo version and will get the paid version if I can get it to work better . The problem is connecting . It takes many tries before the 436 will connect . I do see a com port error 8012 . Would this demo version have any bearing on that ? Thanks again for any help .

Try re-installing the driver and make sure the cable is properly connected.
There is no difference in demo mode.
