I asked about this back in July. Here it is the middle of October and not a word. This feature was advertised over 10 months ago. Whats the holdup Uniden? This doesn't even deal with the wifi issue or Siren app.

forums.radioreference.com/

That site is very active on a plethora of subjects. The questions you posed have been discussed ad-infinitum. In fact, this "dead horse" is now mostly just dust, lol.

Except that this is an official Uniden forum, as opposed to RadioReference.com. Would you go to your local mechanic to find out what's going on with your model car, or to a dealership?

(In my opinion) the number of readers, Uniden questions, Uniden answers, and user comments on this "Official Site" are minuscule compared to the "masses" of readers, commenters on the RR site.

I completely agree, but it's always worth going to the source to see if you can get anything, no?

Absolutely!!! But as an example, I check in here about once a week or two. I select only "new posts" since my last visit (all subjects). Today that number of "recent" unread posts was about 5. Over at RR I check in 4 or 5 times a day, and the DAILY total of "recent" unread posts is about a thousand. I read only about 25 - 50 of those a day (my interests).

Also, any announcement here would be read by only a few, EXCEPT that some RR readers monitor this site, and before the first 10 readers would finish reading the message here, it would be copied to, and spread on the RR site like wildfire. Within a few minutes of being posted here, thousands would read the same message on the RR site.
