In Marin County zip code 94904 just north of San Francisco, Yosemite Valley Park system shows up. Why? I am hundreds of miles away.
Please advise,

Because Yosemite Valley Park is in a group of channels that are tagged as statewide.

Ok, So this would be something I should change on the Sentinel software before uploading to the device? What is the best way to deal with this so that it will not always show up when driving across the state while using GPS?

Thanks again,

Permanently avoid the channel

Just so I understand this correctly will I need to "Permanently" avoid the channel each time I download new firmware and database info from the PC to the Home Patrol? Or can I make this setting stick in the PC software?
Thanks so much.

If you "Read from HomePatrol" into Sentinel, the your avoids will be in Sentinel and will be applied whenever you "Write to HomePatrol."
