I Have installed my HP1, downloaded the lastest database and installed it. I am receiving just about everything in my area i want to recieve with the exception of the following.

Ormond Beach Fire Dept (Stations 91,92,93,94 Battalion Chief, Chief, Dispatch, located in
Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida, 32174. They are not dispatch by Volusia County RCC but by the Emergency Communications Center dispatch in the local area.

FHP (Florida Highway Patrol), Volusia County, Florida

I have searched the Entire database in Volusia county, Florida for these two agencys.
Is it possible they are not in the Database yet?

Couldn't find the fire channel but I suspect they're on the County of Volusia EDACS system.

Florida State Highway Patrol is on the Statewide SKERS system and cannot be monitored.

After reseraching the database and talking to some friends who are in OBFD i found and am recieving OBFD very well as well as Volusia Co FDs

Too bad about FHP but unfortunately, it's the same with every make of scanner.

I won't have my scanner until Tuesday. I am in Volusia so I will probably be listing to Ormond and Daytona. I would think the most interesting police calls will be in Palm Bay. There must be something in the water there because the wackiest news stories come from there.

There is a TON of Radio traffic in Volusia Co to listen to. I have a MFJ 1868 Discone antenna mounted on my HAM Radio Tower at 55 feet and i pick up all of Volusia, Brevard, Putnam, Flagler, St. Johns, Seminole, Orange and Lake Counties.
