2 miles from my home is site 103 of the new SouthEastGeorgiaRadioEmergencynetwork, system ID=02c5h-0103, cc = 747.70625, a MOT P25 digital system. It is listed in Radio Reference.com and my BCD996XT is monitoring it at the moment.
However, my HP-1, installed for location zip = 30458 does not seem to include this sytem in the database. However, sys ID=872h, my county TRS *is* in the HP-1 database. But, the antennas for these two systems are on the Same Tower!

Site 102 is well within range, tower being co-located with TV channel 9 WVAN, Pembroke, GA but it too is seemingly not in the HP-1 db.

How do I get this changed?

Larry

Well this could explain it:

Important Note

Some talkgroups on this system are using Project 25 Phase II TDMA modulation which cannot be monitored by any scanner. Please visit the RR Wiki Project 25 page for additional information.

Soooo, it seems some of these TG's are phase II.

But, additionally, the big reason you can't hear it off 103 is:

Zone Dec Hex Description Lat Lon Range
1 (Primary) 002 2 Chatham County Simulcast 32.0016009 -81.0831676 25
1 (Primary) 102 66 Bryan County Simulcast 31.982453 -81.378479 25
1 (Primary) 103 67 Statesboro
1 (Primary) 104 68 Savannah City Simulcast 32.0016009 -81.0831676 25

No location data for the site! Without that HP-1 has no idea where to find the site. Submit the site location to RR and they should add it to the DB.

Note also there is no TGID Location data either, so when they get the site entered you still need to turn off Location Control for your Favorites List with that system!

RR Wiki info is Wrong in the note about TDMA, there is NO TDMA at present, there may be in the future as provided in the Phase II specs but that implementation is far down the road. It doesn't load site 102 either, that location in Bryan is WVAN-9 PBS TV and is well within range of my location

Submitted to RR for site 103:

Location = N 32.4282, W 81.8065

*All TG are repeated through this site as this is a Regional network*

And when the changeover is done no scanners will hear the system as it is phase II ... but then there really is no such thing since there is no phase II standard approved yet!

Actually the draft standard provides *either* TDMA or CDMA, neither one of course would be good for hobbyists. Just as a minor matter of info, I was present in Geneve a few years ago on a different matter when ITU-R approved in Working party 8A the first APCO standard, what is now called Phase I.
