I tried to get an update earlier this morning but it said I was up to date so it didn't add anything. Either it didn't update last night or it has the update under the same name and sees it in my HP and doesn't update it. Any thoughts? Ron

Many people have told me that the New Jersey State Police handles the Marine Police for Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey. I grew up here and wondered if I was missing something as I can't get them. I have been scanning the NJSP channels trying to hear the Marine Police on this lake but no go. I know the NJSP have 3 Marine channels but I don't seem to get anything for the fresh water Marine Police. Since you know about this stuff is there any way for me to find out if the Marine Police for a fresh water lake is different? I live about 5 miles from the lake so I should get it. Thinking of parking outside their headquarters with my bc246t to see if I could get a close call hit but probably get arrested. Thanks Ron

Updates post at 9 AM central. I suspect you tried before that, the first time.

For Marine, I don't have any direct knowledge, but according to the note in RadioReference:
The 10-COMM marine patrols for all three troops have been patched together on-and-off for the last 2 years, with dispatch coverage provided by the Hamilton Substation. They are often patched together 24/7 during the summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. They are most often heard on A1-10, but can be on any of the three talkgroups.
