Does the "Battery Charge Time" have anything to do with how long the battery lasts before they go dead? Example, if the battery charge time is set for a hour does that mean it lasts an hour?

I am trying to figure out what I have to do to get a decent charge / decent amount of time to use my 436 before I have to charge it again.

I did see someone in another thread mention about the battery status in volts. how much volts does it say for a full battery?

Thanks for the help everyone.

The charge time setting just sets how long the battery charger timer will run before turning off the charger. Fully depleted batteries take 14-16 hours to fully charge. If you charge them for less time, then they will not last as long.

The actual voltage for fully charged batteries varies depending on the brand, remaining life, temperature, and many other factors.

Can a home patrol 1 simply be left on and on the charger, rather than charge, take off charger, turn on until charge warning and do all over again?
